Marketing automation that doesn't wake up your data protection officer

Plan multi-channel campaigns, send newsletters with double opt-in and track leads from first contact to order. Everything is GDPR-compliant and EU-hosted in Nuremberg, with no US tracking pixels. The AI helper suggests segments, subject lines and send times, and it learns from your open rates as it goes. All of this costs 49 euros per user per month, all-in.

What Marketing does

Multi-channel campaign planning with customer journeys
Plan campaigns across email, landing pages, social media, SMS and print in a single calendar. You define the target group, budget, timeline and KPIs, and DARION-AI automatically creates the tasks for your team and tracks progress. Customer journeys are built in a drag-and-drop editor with trigger events, for example 'when the newsletter is opened, follow up after 3 days; when link X is clicked, notify the sales rep'. The performance dashboard shows reach, clicks, conversions and CPL per channel live, and you can drill down from a campaign to a single lead. Multi-tenant isolation via Postgres Row-Level Security ensures no data leaks between tenants, which matters especially for agencies with multiple clients.
Newsletter with double opt-in and bounce management
Send newsletters via your own send pool or connect Brevo, Mailchimp or your own SMTP server. Double opt-in is mandatory and comes pre-configured: the confirmation mail, token validation and audit log all run automatically. Bounce handling with soft and hard bounce classification and automatic list hygiene keeps your delivery rate clean. Templates come in responsive HTML format with a drag-and-drop editor, so no coding skills are needed. An unsubscribe link goes into every mail, and the GDPR-compliant mandatory footer information (imprint, responsible party) is inserted automatically. A spam score pre-check before dispatch points out potential problems such as risky subject words, the image-text ratio or the link count before they damage your reputation with the provider.
Lead tracking from first contact to order
Every lead gets a unique ID and is tracked through all touchpoints, from the landing page via the webinar to the CRM deal. Source attribution shows you which channel brings which revenue, with first-touch, last-touch and multi-touch attribution models available. Lead scoring by demographic and behavioural criteria happens automatically, and the AI helper suggests thresholds based on historical conversion patterns. Hot leads are handed over directly to sales, while cold leads land in nurturing sequences. UTM parameters, conversion paths and customer lifetime value are documented per lead, so you see not only that a campaign brings leads but also which of those leads later become profitable orders.
Segment management with dynamic lists
Segment your contacts by any combination of criteria: industry, region, revenue, headcount, last contact, behavioural tags and lead score. Lists update automatically, so new contacts slide in and old ones drop out. The AI helper suggests segments based on patterns in your conversion data, for example 'IT service providers with over 50 employees in NRW have 3x higher conversion than average'. You see segment sizes and overlaps live before starting a campaign, which helps you avoid double sending and build clean A/B test cohorts. Suppression lists for unwelcome contacts such as competitors or former employees are managed centrally, so they are not overlooked in a standard campaign.
GDPR-compliant lead capture and consent management
Web forms come with a honeypot, an EU-based reCAPTCHA alternative and multi-step consent. For every lead you document when and for what they consented, whether advertising, newsletter, profiling or data sharing with partners. Consents are versioned and stored audit-proof with time stamp, IP address, source URL and form snapshot. Data protection access and deletion requests are handled at the press of a button: all lead data is exported or deleted GDPR-compliant, and the deletion confirmation is documented in the audit log. There is no tracking with US pixels such as Facebook or Google Analytics. The standard is EU tracking with a Plausible connection, with Matomo (self-hosted) or Fathom as options. The days of cookie banner tinkering are over.
AI helper for subject and send-time optimisation
Before dispatch, the AI helper (Qwen3, self-hosted in the EU) suggests three subject line variants based on your historical open rates and spam filter detection. Send-time optimisation analyses per recipient when they typically open their mail and plans dispatch individually, so some contacts get the mail at 7:00 and others at 14:30. A/B tests run automatically across the first 10 percent of the list, and the winner goes to the remaining 90 percent. With each dispatch the AI helper learns more about your target group; after 50 campaigns the suggestions are typically 25 percent better than manually chosen subject lines. Sensitive data does not leave the EU, and the model is trained exclusively on your anonymised engagement data.

Who uses this module

CEO
You have to prove marketing ROI monthly, whether to the advisory board, the bank or an investor. In the marketing module you see investment, leads, orders and CAC per channel live. Questions like 'Which campaign had the lowest CPL in Q1 and which brought the highest ARR?' the AI helper answers right in the chat, no Excel needed. The quarterly report for the advisory board exports as a PDF with charts, trends and a comparison to last year. Attribution shows cleanly which euro of marketing budget brings which revenue. And for audit questions or GDPR complaints you have every lead lifecycle documented: consent, dispatch history, conversion path and deletion are accessible audit-proof, so you handle access requests in minutes instead of days.
Team lead
As marketing lead you coordinate the newsletter, social media, webinars and paid ads all at once. The campaign calendar shows you every activity of your team, helps you avoid double sending to the same target group and tracks SLAs for the lead handover to sales. When a lead sits unhandled for more than 24h, the responsible sales rep gets a reminder, and after 48h you as marketing lead get an escalation. Performance reviews with the team come straight from the dashboard, with no more slide tinkering. You track budget consumption per channel live, and on overrun a notification arrives before the quarterly budget is breached.
Employee
You're a marketing employee and need to set up a newsletter. In the editor you pick a template and drag your images in, while the AI helper suggests a subject line, a preview text and three subject variants for the A/B test. Segments are selected with a click, and you immediately see the list size and the estimated open rate based on historical data. You send a test to yourself and a colleague, get approval via workflow from the marketing lead, and then dispatch. Bounces, unsubscribes and reports arrive automatically in your inbox the next morning. The spam score check before dispatch prevents your newsletter from landing in junk, and the AI helper marks critical words directly in the editor.
