What Finance does
DATEV-CSV export
Export bookings and master data in DATEV-CSV format directly from any booking screen, so your tax advisor receives cleanly structured data without any conversion overhead. This works for SKR03, SKR04 and SKR42 as well as custom charts of accounts, for example for non-profits or industry-specific setups.
GoBD-compliant audit report
Generate an audit report for auditors at the press of a button, complete with the full receipt chain, access logs and change history. It meets the GoBD requirements for unchangeable storage, traceability and machine-readability.
AI booking suggestions
Upload a receipt and the AI helper suggests the journal entry, account and cost center. It learns from your corrections: after 50 receipts, 80% of suggestions can be accepted directly. The model is Qwen3-based and self-hosted in the EU, so no data flows out to third countries.
Drag-and-drop receipt capture
Drop PDFs, JPGs or Outlook mails into the receipt inbox and OCR automatically extracts the date, amount, supplier and VAT. Receipts are stored in a GoBD-compliant way and linked to their bookings. ZUGFeRD and XRechnung are also supported as input formats.
Live BWA and liquidity planning
From your running bookings, DARION-AI calculates the BWA, liquidity plan and target-actual comparison every day. You can drill down from a total line to a single receipt and compare with the previous month and previous year without Excel exports. The liquidity forecast factors in open receivables, payables and recurring costs.
Time tracking with project mapping
Record employee hours in an Excel-style bulk entry with project mapping. Hourly rates are managed per employee and billed automatically against project bills. Anyone who prefers to log hours directly can use live tracking via the mobile app, and everything transfers automatically to payroll.

DARION-AI's finance module calculates the BWA from your running bookings automatically, compares it with the previous month and previous year and shows target-actual deviations directly in the dashboard. The AI helper answers questions like 'Why are personnel costs 12% higher than last year?' right in the chat, with no Excel exports, no call to your tax advisor and no waiting.

As a team lead, you need to keep your projects profitable. The finance module shows you hours, costs and margin live for every project, and when a project reaches 80% of its budget you get a notification before it is too late. Hourly rates per employee are managed centrally and the margin is calculated automatically. For overruns and shortfalls, the AI helper suggests corrective actions.

You log your hours on projects every day. With DARION-AI you simply drag receipts into the inbox, the AI helper suggests the journal entry and project, and you only click 'Accept'. Receipts are stored in a GoBD-compliant way, so you no longer have to file or print anything. Fuel-station receipts you can photograph directly with your phone, and OCR handles the rest.
